Sustainable development: BIIC supports the creation of an educational green space in Ifangni
The GNIDEHOUE Foundation, with the support of the International Bank for Industry and Commerce (BIIC), has created its first community orchard covering an area of 3,200 m². Located in Tchaada, a rural commune of IFANGNI, this orchard is composed of mango trees, monkey bread trees, and avocado trees.
The creation of this community orchard aims to maintain biodiversity within the communes, educate citizens about the place of nature in their territory and the importance of preserving it, create and strengthen social ties between the communes' residents, and create and preserve a green, playful, entertaining, and educational space within the communes. It will also be a place where local residents can pick fruit on opening days, take part in sporting activities or simply have fun.
This action demonstrates the BIIC's involvement in preserving the environment and promoting sustainable development.
